High quality German Drilling combination rifle, by Collath and Sohne, Frankfurt, 16 gauge SxS shotgun over 8mm rifle, 25-1/2” barrel, blue finish on nitro proofed barrels, case hardened receiver with fine Europeanengraving, checkered wood stocks, #22032. This gun is in overall uncleaned fine condition showing the majority of its blue finish on barrels with traces of case color on receiver, balance gone to a silvery tone;bores should clean to very good/fine; crisp action; unusual barrel release that moves the barrels and part of wood fore end forward and down; key safety lever on top tang, flip up rear sight actuated by small lever onright side of trigger guard that is carved horn material as is the barrel release lever; wood is overall very good to fine with sling swivels and horn butt plate that has some slight worm damage.
