Produced between 1850 and 1870. Dovetailed silver blade front and notch rear sights, with "'DERINGER / PHILADELa'' marked on top of the silver banded breech and "P" flanked by zigzags on the upper left. The Deringer address is repeated on the lock plate, with scroll engraving on the lock, hammer, tang, bolster and German silver furniture. Attractively finished and checkered stock, with a birds head butt.

Condition: Fine, with 70% of the original bronzed finish, showing a gray patina on the high edges, and well defined gray streaking on the plum brown background. 60% case colors are visible on the refinished hammer with a silver gray finish in the protected areas of the lock and tang. Stock is very good, with a few small cracks and scattered dents. Mechanically fine.
