H. M. Quackenbush Herkimer, New York, .22 cal. pistol showing 12" barrel and collapsible wire frame stock attached to right side of frame with last patent date March 15, 1889. The pistol remains in goodcondition with 75-85% original nickel on frame and stock, 10-20% original blue on barrel mostly at the breech; some scattered erosion and light to moderate pitting, with the heavier pitting on the right side of theblock and at the right front muzzle. The breech block on the left side and top show considerable rainbow case hardening. The trigger and springs show bright fire blue, the bore is at least very good. A scarce and fairly early Quackenbush with its original to-the-period flap holster in fair condition. Est.: $400-$800
