Flash Gordon (1980) - World Trade Center Storyboard and Pre-production photos from the 80's cult classic. A set of original mimeographed copies of the highly detailed storyboards of the film which detail an opening scene (not used in the final film) of the World Trade Centers being destroyed. Eerily similar to real events. Drawn by famed storyboard artist Mentor Huebner who also worked on such films as Quo Vadis, Forbidden Planet, North by Northwest, Ben-Hur, King Kong, The Thing, Blade Runner, Dune and Bram Stoker's Dracula. Includes 12 pages which detail the destruction of New York. These pages have spine binding perforations down the side (not torn). Also included are a set of over 30 vintage photographs of pre-production visualizations from large panel drawing inside a sound stage, to photos of maquettes for costume design. Includes photos of landscapes, futuristic cities, space craft, characters, etc. Storyboard: 11" x 12" x 2". Photographs range from: 10" x 8" up to 15" x 11"
