Fancy French figural dagger, approx. 8-3/8” long with a 5” double edged dagger blade and a 2-7/8” sharpened edge. Blade shows four pierced fullers with decorative designs. Blade flats show scroll engraving. Raisedricasso shows engraved knight on both sides. Hilt shows a one piece cast silver-plated figural pattern with integral crossguard and depicts a winged cherub and animal motif. The blade screws into the hilt and is loose.3-dimensional cast silver-plated sheath with scrollwork and assorted images. Circa approx. 1860’s – 1870’s. Est.: $600 - $1,200
