Produced in the 1920s, the Fur Getter uses an 11 1/2 inch bait hook as a trigger, and can swivel on 2 points to line up with the animal pulling the bait. Marked "TAYLOR FUR GETTER./F.C. TAYLOR FUR CO. ST. LOUIS. MO." on the left side of the frame, 1914 patent date on the reverse. Hook height is adjustable, and the unit is mounted on a 2 1/4 inch swiveling screw.

Condition: Very good, showing a fine, dark aged patina on the brass components and mild pitting on the darkened steel. Mechanically needs work as the firing pin spring is broken.
