Excellent Engraved English Deringer Marked Single Shot Pocket Pistol
Patterned after Henry Deringer's Philadelphia pocket pistol, with the "DERINGE" markings and a few minor alterations to the design, possibly to trick someone into believing it to be the real deal on a cursory inspection. Silver finished blade front and notch rear sights, with a panel of scroll engraving on the left breech flat, "DERINGE" on top, engraved tang and screw, and scroll engraved lock and hammer. The barrel is finished brown, with a lower rib and an ebony ramrod. German silver furniture, with engraved lock, hammer, bolster, accent and reverse plates, trigger guard, escutcheons, forearm tip, shield escutcheon and buttplate. Checkered walnut stock, with a dark lacquer "ebony like" finish and a bird's head butt.

Excellent, with 95% of the brown barrel finish remaining, showing a bright gray patina on the muzzle, along with some minor handling marks. Original case colors are visible on the lock, hammer and tang. Silver is excellent, with a bright color overall, turned darker in the engraved areas. The stock is fine, with a small chip absent from the left escutcheon, minor pressure dents and some flaking of the lacquer. Action is excellent.
