Manufactured in 1948. The two line address is marked on the left side of the barrel, the Rampant Colt over "MATCH TARGET" on the left side of the frame, with the serial number on the opposite, and the left side of the slide is marked "COLT" followed by the two line caliber designation. Ramped blade front and adjustable rear target sights, serrated trigger and grip straps with back strap adaptor, blue Colt marked early Second Series magazine and fitted with checkered plastic grips with right hand thumb rest and the Rampant Colt molded at the top of the right panel. Complete with an original Colt "wood grain" box, with hand written name and address on the lid, instructions, Colt plastic handled screwdriver, additional grip adaptor, cleaning brush and test target.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 99% original blue finish with some mild high edge wear and a few overall scattered minor dings and scratches. The grips are as new. Clear markings and the action is excellent. The screwdriver is rusty and the handle has disintegrated. The box is good with the left rear corner collapsing a bit and some minor wear.
