Typed letter signed by Eva Peron while First Lady of Argentina. Typed on official ''Women's Peronist Party'' letterhead. Letter is datemarked Buenos Aires, 20 July 1950, and declares that ''...this Chair of the Women's Peronist Party establishes that Assistance to the old and disabled people shall be provided...'' Peron's reputation for tireless service to those in need is illustrated in this decree. Signature in blue ink is very dark. Letter measures 6.75'' x 10.5''. Some paper loss along the left margin, otherwise very good condition.
