European ax showing armorers mark and engraved designs, circa 16th to 18th century. The cutting edge measures 12-1/4" across edge by nearly 9" from center of hammer portion to edge. The metal is heavilypitted, shows age and use as would be expected. The blade shows remnants of decoration and a well defined deep stamp showing "FP" in a heart shape with deep designs that were all marked when forged.The shaft is a replacement and measures approximately 36". Checkout Date & Times: You may checkout during the auction each day and at our business location after the auction. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
