Ramp blade front and folding leaf rear sights, with claw mounts on the rib, Nitro proofed shotgun barrel and various markings on the rifle barrel. Casehardened action features a relief oak leaf engraving with game scene: deer on the left and two dogs on the right, with a horn trigger guard, adjustable front trigger, tang safety and cocking indicator pins. Nicely figured walnut checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with raised shadow line cheekpiece, sling swivels and serrated horn buttplate. LOP is 13 5/8".

Condition: Very good, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing the beginnings of a brown patina strongest near the muzzles, some light spotting and some minor scratches. Traces of bright original case colors remain on the frame, strongest in the protected areas, otherwise has faded to a smooth gray patina. Trigger guard is chipped, with a glue repaired crack running the length of the forearm, a chip absent from the right rear, and patched wood on the left side of the buttstock, otherwise the wood is fine with some minor dings, chips and scratches. There are some chips on the buttplate and grip cap. Markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically excellent.
