For auction in this lot is a mid 20th Century advertising sign for Eddy's Bread, a company which started in Helena, Montana. The tin sign shows vibrant painted graphics, and reads; "Eddy's Bread - Better By Far". J.E. "Eddy" O'Connell has a long history of entrepreneurship with the city of Helena, as well as the Northwest region as a whole, with bakeries across the entire Northwest, Eddy started simply with a Cafe, turning the profits into a hotel and bakery. Once Eddy had established his empire, his 15 bakeries were producing one-million loaves of bread in a weeks time.
