Very early Winchester M1 Rifle, produced in May of 1941. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights with "W" marked windage drum. Original Winchester barrel. Springfield bolt, hammer, trigger housing and operating rod. Smooth pistol grip stock with a circled block letter "P" behind the trigger and faint painted markings on top of the wrist and on the buttstock. With a gun lock, shipping box and Civilian Marksmanship Program certificate.

Condition: Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with 95% of the arsenal parkerized finish, showing the later hardening mark across the rear of the receiver, with mild edge wear and areas of mixed patina. Stock is good as arsenal repaired, with patches on the right side of the butt, deep dents on the reverse, and scattered dings and scuffs overall. Mechanically excellent.
