Creature from the Black Lagoon Original headpiece worn by actor Ricou Browning for Creature from the Black Lagoon. Designed by Milecent Patrick for Buddy Westmore at Universal Studios in 954, it is not known how many of the original masks have survived time. Two styles of masks were made, one for dry land and one for underwater sequences. This is the latex rubber underwater mask. Condition is excellent with bright colours, some dried rubber near neck area and some minor loss. Enclosed in a plexiglass case. Accompanied by a letter from the designer to the former owner.
