Limited edition re-issue of Cointreaus art deco white nun
decanter. The original was designed in 1936 by Jean Mercier.
<p>Please note: This item does NOT contain any liqueur.
<p>The souer blanche wears a tall white headpiece and gown
with a black button. She seems surprised to be carrying a very
large (for her) replica bottle of Cointreau liqueur. Her pajama-
like habit makes her look like a clown as in commedia del
arte or il Pagliachi

Cointreau is a clear, not-too-sweet liqueur made
from bitter ornages. It takes it name from the French family who
first distilled it over 200 years ago. Unbranded versions of this
triple-dry
drink are called triple-sec.
