Manufactured from 1863 to 1875. Fixed pinched blade front sight and notched rear sight. The top barrel flat is marked "PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858 / E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NEW YORK. U.S.A / NEW-MODEL". Brass trigger guard. Single letter inspection marks (D, R. and W) are stamped on most of the components, with the rack number "275" on the left side of the frame. Matching serial number on barrel and frame. Smooth walnut grips with a boxed cartouche on the left panel. The back of the right grip panel is marked "C.L. CUMMINS / COLUMBUS, IND / 10-10 1936" with an illegible marking on the left grip panel.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 50% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with extremely limited pin point pitting on the barrel. The grips are fine with exception of a few missing small chips and worn bottom edge along with some minor dings and scratches. The cartouche is clear. Mechanically excellent.
