Accompanied by, “Gill's Dictionary of the Chinook Jargon”, 14th edition 1902. The guide for traders and travelers. 64 pages, 5 ½" x 3 ½" paper covers, chipped, worn. Chinook Jargon was a trade language that was used extensively in the nineteenth century and first part of the twentieth century for communication between Europeans and First Nations people in much of the Pacific Northwest, including British Columbia.
