Very good. The barrel and cylinder retain 40% original nickel finish with the balance a smooth bright gray patina with some minor pitting (mostly on the cylinder) and some minor nicks on the cylinder near some of the flutes. The frame retains 85% of the nickel with loss mostly on the edges, some minor scratches, and a couple patches of unknown residue. The grips are excellent with some minor scratches. The checkering is crisp. The markings are weak but legible. Barrel is loose (missing part of a broken, absent hinge screw), otherwise the action functions properly. The case is very good with minor handling marks on the wood and the lining showing some minor wear. The document is good with some discoloration and some separation along the folds.
