Designed by Eiko Ishioka, Chris Gilman and Patrick Tatopoulos for the 1991 Francis Ford Coppola production of Dracula. This display was created from the original raw sculpture molds. The entire display is life sized, with a faux muddy ground with plants, and an impaled Turk hanging from the spear. The spear tip is an original item used during the production of the film and when mounted on the long handle measures approximately 117" long. The display is incredibly impressive in person, with studio blood splattered on the front of Dracula and on the platform. The overall display measures approximately 117" tall, 98" long, and 43" wide. Our ScreenUsed COA is signed by Chris Gilman, President of Global Effects, Inc, the company responsible for the creation of this piece.

This type of suit was worn in the opening sequence of the film by Gary Oldman as Count Dracula, a 15th Century Romanian Prince. Due to concerns over Eiko's original helmet design and a shortened schedule, the suit had to be rushed to completion. As a result, the suit worn on screen was actually the fiberglass masters which had been meticulously sanded, instead of flexible copies of these pieces as originally planned. This display piece was made directly from those same molds with the exception of the back layers of the helmet not being separated.
