Original May 23, 1934 issue of the Ottumwa Daily Courier, 17 x 21.5, with the headline stating “Clyde Barrow, Bonnie Parker Killed: Notorious Outlaw Pair Trapped on Road Near Hideaway in Louisiana.” Front page bears an image of the couple with the secondary headline stating “Desperadoes, Ignoring Officer’s Halt Order, Die in Speeding Auto Without Getting Chance to Return Gun Fire.” In very good condition, with central horizontal and vertical fold, a few chips to the fragile edges, and uniform toning.
