Bergmann Simplex Semi-Automatic Pistol
Produced in the early 1900s, the Simplex was an improvement on Bergmann's 1896 semi-auto pistol. Fixed sights, with a "crown/ crown/ U" proof on the left side of the barrel, "PAT." on the left side of the chamber. The magazine catch is mounted on the right rear of the well, which is drilled through in 4 places on each side, lining up with a set of viewports on the detachable box magazine. Straw colored hammer and trigger. One piece checkered hard rubber grips, with the "Simplex" imprint on either side.

Condition: Fine, with 40% of the original blue finish, with edge wear, patches of brown and gray patina, battering in the chamber area, scattered spotting and mild pitting. Grips are fine as repaired, with a mended chip on the top rear and mild dents. Mechanically fine.
