Vintage color 5.75 x 4 picture postcard of Watergate Bay near Newquay, Cornwall, signed and inscribed on the reverse in black ballpoint, “To Anne, love from John Lennon,” “Paul McCartney,” and “Ringo Starr.” Includes a set of four original color 3.25 x 3.5 candid snapshots of the band in a hotel lobby in Newquay where the signatures were acquired. In fine condition, with a few light creases and spots of minor soiling, and all three signatures a few shades light, but still completely legible, due to irregular ink flow. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. On September 12, 1967, the Beatles arrived in Newquay to film scenes for their upcoming made-for-TV short-film Magical Mystery Tour. Their brief two-week production period is noted as being one of the last times the band was openly accessible to the public, stopping at various countryside hotels and establishments throughout filming. Pre-certified REAL.
