<B>BLACK-BACKED JACKAL FULL-BODY MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Canis mesomelas schreber</B></I><BR>Mainly nocturnal, the Black-Backed Jackal lives in southern Africa in pairs or small parties. It is a very cunning and resourceful animal and as a scavenger it is attracted by lion kills, feeding after the hyenas. As a hunter it catches rodents, birds, and reptiles. Jackals can be quite vocal, making a screaming yell followed by yaps. This mount exhibits competition-quality taxidermy and is in mint condition.
