Apache Burden Basket, c. 1880s-1900s. Made of willow, devil's claw, braintanned buckskin and wood, the item measures 12" tall x 14" wide. White Mountain Apache, Arizona. Basket w/early construction w/minor whipping stitch damage used for transporting goods and food. Adorned with buckskin fringe, yellow ochre and anthropomorphic scene. Condition: Good w/minor wear, whipping stitch damage, see images. Shipping: $50.00 w/insurance and signature, due to value and size.
