Included for bidding in this lot is a circa 1917 Hires Root Beer advertising, serving tray. The serving tray has a nice wood grain look, and says "Drink Hires" on all edges. The center of the tray shows the bust of a rosy cheeked woman, and reads "Haskell Coffire" under the right shoulder. Hires root beer is the second longest continuously made soft drink, established in 1876. Hires is second only to Vernors Ginger Ale, dating to 1866. The tin tray shows good condition for age, with some obvious edge wear, and speckled damage to the graphics. The tray measures 10 1/2" wide, 13 1/4" tall, and 1" tall.
