Very popular silent star of the 1920s. She co-starred with Rudolph Valentino in The Sheik (1921) and in The Son of the Sheik (1926). She died from a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 42. Vintage sepia matte-finish 8 x 10 Maurice Seymour photo, signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen, “To Edward Werner– A kindred spirit– Good wishes from Agnes Ayres 1934.” In fine condition, with small creases to bottom border tips.
