Measuring 13 1/2 inches overall. The blade, 8 1/8 inches long, shows a teardrop style Damascus pattern, with a 2 1/2 inch false edge and a gold koftgari accented collar. The grip is a single piece of carved red jade, topped with a three dimensional ram head. Provenance: The William Ashby Collection

Very good. The edge of the blade has been polished, showing dark spotting on the bright metal, and the Damascus pattern is strong on the remainder. A few thin cracks and dark spots are visible in the jade. The koftgari work remains strong.
