<B>1993 World Series Player's Trophy Presented to Rickey Henderson.</B></I> Worthy of tremendous collecting interest merely as a symbol of baseball's highest achievement, this World Series Championship trophy glimmers that much more brightly for the identity of its former owner. As a 1994 signed letter of provenance from "Man of Steal Sports" attests, this trophy is one of two that belonged to Henderson, awarded for his part in securing a second consecutive World Series victory for the Toronto Blue Jays. A signed photograph (4x6") of Henderson holding the trophy is likewise included, and a second Henderson signed photo (8x10") of the Jays' celebration after recording the Series' final out.<BR><BR> The distinctive styling of this award features a ring of flags announcing every Major League team, with a crown and baseball sculpture at center. Pins sporting the logo of the Blue Jays and Phillies, who met that October, are positioned in front. Ringing the base of the foot-tall trophy is a golden band, which is engraved, "World Series Champions, Toronto Blue Jays, 1993, Rickey Henderson." The "Balfour" manufacturer's sticker is underneath the base.
