1909-S VDB 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. Well struck with generous mint luster and a pleasing frosty sheen over both sides. The coloration includes a variegated mix of reddish-gold and mint-green patina. The surfaces are essentially unabraded but a few minor carbon specks are evident on the obverse, mainly near the periphery. Victor D. Brenner's initials were quickly removed from the lower reverse edge of the Lincoln cent design, soon after the first Lincoln cents were distributed to the public, creating this ever-popular key issue in the series.
From The Lanterman's Mill Collection, Part Two.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
