17LP-10 WINCHESTER 1894 #288912Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle, .38-55 caliber, Serial #258912. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 26” round barrel with a replacement front sight. The barrel and full-length magazine retainthe majority of their original blue finish with areas of significant loss on the barrel and some light surface rust. The receiver shows significant original blue with edge wear and toning case hardening still visibleon the lever. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with small mars and compressions from carry and use. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel crescent butt plate with light surface erosion evident.The bore is good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable Winchester circa 1902.
