Auction Terms & Conditions
20th Century Props (Seller) Auction dates are as follows: Saturday, April 10, 2010 (Auction #1), Tuesday, April 13, 2010 (Auctions #2) and Saturday, April 17, 2010 (Auction #3). The auction will be solely conducted by Barry Sweet, Auctioneer.
• Auction Preview Times are as follows
Saturday, April 10, 2010 8:00am – 10:30am
Tuesday, April 13, 2010 8:00am – 10:30am
Saturday, April 17, 2010 8:00am – 10:30am
• All auctions start at 10:30 am and will be conducted live at 11651 Hart St., North Hollywood, CA 91605 and concurrently online via www.icollector.com.
• Bidders must be at least 18 years old and have completed the registration process. Auctioneer reserves the right to deny a bidder’s eligibility.
• The registration fee is $100 and applicable toward purchase. If no item is purchased, the fee is refundable.
• All items are sold AS IS. There are no warranties or guarantees to the condition/fitness of any item expressed or implied. Written and oral descriptions are based upon opinion and should not be construed as a guarantee to the item being auctioned. Any guarantees or warranties regarding the soundness or function of any item are specifically not included in the sale of any item.
• The information provided to the bidders is general in description. The auction items are made available for preview by the seller to ensure that the bidder is bidding upon the desired item.
• All SALES ARE FINAL and there are NO REFUNDS and NO EXCHANGES.
• No statement written or oral made by the auctioneer and/or his staff shall be deemed a warranty or assumption of liability by 20th Century Props.
• The Auctioneer reserves the right to conduct the auction, its bidding increments, reserves, and any other auction procedures at its sole discretion without prior written or verbal notice. If there is a dispute among bidders, or a tie bid, the Auctioneer reserves the right to make the final determination.
• All bids placed by a registered bidder shall be considered a binding, legal offer.
• The Buyer’s Premium for a successful Live/Onsite purchase is 14% and will be added on to the final successful bid price for each item.
• The Buyer’s Premium for a successful Online purchase via www.icollector.com is 17% and will be added on to the final successful bid price for each item.
• Payment is expected in full at the time of purchase for all onsite successful bidders. Payment is expected within 24 hours for all online successful bidders.
• All payments are subject to State, County and Local taxes, and that amount shall be added to the total purchase price.
• The successful bidder is responsible for the removal of their item from the premises upon payment or within twenty four hours unless other arrangements are expressly made with the Seller in writing. If the item is not removed in that timely fashion there is a $25 per day, per item storage fee. Oversized items will be charged $50 per day, per item. If an item is not removed within ten business days from the time of purchase, ownership shall revert back to the Seller, and all payments shall be forfeited.
• Neither the Seller nor the Auctioneer is responsible for the handling and shipping of purchased items. Once purchased, each item is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder.

• The pickup schedule for purchased items is as follows:

We are closed Sundays.
• All Bidders agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Seller and Auctioneer, their employees, agents, partners, or any affiliates against any and all claims arising from the sale of any item successfully auctioned.
• Bidding on an item indicates your understanding and acceptance of these Terms of Sale. If the purchaser breaches any one of these terms, including the obligation to pay for purchased items, it will result in cancellation of the sale and possible penalty under law.
