Aqua DYOTEVILLE GLASS WORKS/ PHILAD. This bottle has a 1" glass fold on rear. Dark green DYOTEVILLE GLASS WORKS/ PHILAD. "The Dyottville Glass works saga began across the Delaware river in Glassboro New Jersey in 1781 by the Stanger Family which consisted of a Father and 5 sons who founded a 4 pot furnace here. Fast Forward twenty five years and the Stanger works were now owned and operated by David Wolf and Dr Dyott of Philadelphia. These works were now called the Olive Glass works. Dyott would sell the products in Philadelphia and David ran the daily operation of the Glass factory. Dyott was also part owner of the Gloucester Glass Works in Clementon New Jersey with Jonathan Haines and the Union Glass Works of Port Elizabeth New Jersey.

By 1817 Dyott added the newly rebuilt Kensington glass factory to his glass empire. By the year 1819 he purchased the Kensington Glass factory out right and sold his interests in the other New Jersey factory's. His departure from these glass factory's must have been a big deal financially for all of them because they would all eventually close in less then 5 years after his departure. The Kensington Glass factory was now firmly established again, and would become the largest in the country at that time." From http://dyottville-glass.com. Large shoulder bruise and large rear chip.
