Over and under tap-action flintlock two shot pistol signed “Lacy, #67 Royal Exchange, London”. The pistol remains in very good plus to near fine original condition. The pistol measures 8 ¼” overall with 3 ½” barrels of approximately .45 caliber false rifled. The barrels show 50% to 70% original bright blue. The frame, mounts and hammer show traces of their original colors and are sharp with just a light patina. The flintlock parts are all original to the period. The stocks have been lightly cleaned but not refinished. An exceptional pistol by a very good maker. Est.: $750-$1,500.
