World War I 1914 Dated Erfurt Artillery Luger Rig with Matching Stock, 1914 Dated Holster and Cleaning Rod

This is a very nice, early WWI 1914 Dated Crown Erfurt Artillery Luger, rig that has the matching board shoulder stock, 1914 dated brown leather holster, shoulder straps, stock boot, cleaning rod and proofed take down tool. The chamber area is dated 1914 with the front toggle stamped with the "Crown/ERFURT" marking. The barrel extension has the "Crown/Gothic" letter proofs and Imperial Eagle firing proof, with the firing proof and "Crown/Script" letter proofs, also repeated on the sides of the breech block and rear end of the barrel. Many of the various smaller parts are also stamped with the small Crown/Erfurt proofs that consist of either a "Crown/RC" or a single "Crown/Gothic" letter proofmark. This example is fitted with the correct Artillery tangent rear sight graduated to 1-8, (100-800 meters) and both sights are fitted with the fine-tune adjustments. This Luger is complete with one nickel plated, wooden base magazine that is stamped on the base with a "Crown/Script Letter Proof" over "3895". This example is accompanied by a early brown leather holster that is stamped with only "1914" on the front of the holster. This rig also includes an original, walnut shoulder stock that is numbered on the attaching iron "2353" only (no "a" suffix,) with an original brown leather stock boot and shoulder straps. The walnut stock itself has a single Imperial "Crown/Script" proof on the back side. The holster is complete with an original WWI brass tipped, wooden handled, cleaning rod with an Imperial proofed take down tool.
