Albert Speer Dinner Spoon. Albert Speer was the Minister of Armaments and War Production as well as Hitler's official architect. He designed and constructed the new Reich Chancellery as well as the Nuremberg Party Rally grounds. He is widely credited for having kept Germany in the war, increasing war production even as conditions got worse for Germany. As Minister of Armaments and War Production, he was responsible for approving new weapons for manufacture and organizing production of adopted weapons and war material. After the war, he was sentenced to 20 years of prison. This dinner knife was found by 1st Lieutenant D.C Watts, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division in the underground storage rooms below the Platterdorf Hotel in the Obersalzburg area. This dinner spoon has the block letter AS monogram etched into the bottom of the handle. The handle has a simple beaded border pattern. The spoon has seen use evidenced by the stains and has not been washed in many years. No damage to the spoon. Included is a copy of the certificate of authenticity. Excellent condition. Donley Auctions will work with you to provide shipping. Shipper will contact you once items are paid for with a quote for shipping and handling. A signed FFL MUST be provided on ALL firearms regardless of vintage. As of 2019, all ammunition sold to CA residents must be shipped to an FFL. All items must be picked up from auction house within 5 days. Any item left over 5 days, will be charged $20 per day storage fee unless prior arrangements have been made.
If using your own shipper, please have your shipper contact us to arrange time and date of pickup. All items will be moved to an off site location after 5 days.

We work very hard for the consignor as well as the buyer. The auction moves fast between the auctioneer, the on site bids, and the live internet bids. Because of this, one little delay, or what we call 'hiccup' in the internet connection, can cause an online bid to be missed. We apologize if this happens, but it is sometimes inevitable. Please be aware of this when attending a Proxibid auction.
Due to the element of Third Party Auctions and the reliability/unreliability of technical issues, we reserve the right to end an auction early or extend an auction as we see fit. We value our customers, both buyers and sellers, and try very hard to ensure an exciting, smooth, successful auction! We are happy and willing to work with you under any circumstances.

Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the Proxibid feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins.
