Featured in this lot we have a World War I etched German Officers ceremonial sword with sheath. The WWI Officers sword is marked indicating its from the 4th guard artillery regiment. The sword is marked with the makers mark "WKC" indicated it was manufactured by Weyersberg Kirschbaum Company in Solengin Germany. The blade is etched with "Reit. Abteil. 4 Garde-Feld-Arillerie" along the blade with the imaged of soldiers on horseback and ornate geometric and floral patterns. The sword comes with a metal sheath and shows an unadorned handle and guard. The piece shows good condition overall with some rust and wear on the grip and guard. The blade measures 31 3/4" and measures 36 3/4" long overall.
