Vintage Simerac Italian Espresso Coffee Pot
Item/Description: Vintage 1930s-1940s Italian espresso coffee pot from Simerac, an Italian company founded in 1913 by Antonio Cotechini, originally based in Ferrara and later in Milan. Simerac is known for its high-quality stovetop espresso pots and innovative brewing designs. This elegant stovetop coffee maker employs steam pressure for brewing and features a distinctive vertical body with a side chamber, both equipped with black control knobs. Commonly known as moka pots, siphon brewers or "drip-o-lators," these manual pressure-based devices were once favored before the rise of electric coffee makers. Label reads Apparecchi Originali Simerac Fabber Elettr. Riunite-Milano, 110-130, 360.
