Nyholm 117 Rust 112 This is a seldom seen $1 note issued by the Salt Lake City Corporation. You will notice that ‘Great’ was dropped from the title. In mid 1868 the official name of Salt Lake City was changed by dropping the word Great. $1 and $2 notes of this type are seldom encountered and as mentioned with the previous notes, many saw extensive circulation and those surviving in higher grade are even more scarce. This note grades a strong XF and is a real beauty. Strong signature, date, and serial number all add to the desirability and this note should fetch a strong bid. HKA#63416
