Manufactured in 1914. The left side of the slide has the two line, two block patent dates and Hartford address with a Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The left side of the frame is marked with a Walter G. Penfield "WGP" inspector marking. The barrel chamber is marked "P" and "H" and the hammer slot is marked "H". Smooth trigger, flat mainspring housing, and checkered hammer. Fitted with contemporary checkered grips featuring the diamond pattern around the screws. Comes with a two-tone magazine with lanyard loop. According to the consignor notes, the pistol was shipped to Rock Island Arsenal on June 20, 1914.

Condition: Fine as partially refinished (cold blue on the grip straps). The pistol retains 60% of the original blue finish on the balance of pistol, mixed with a smooth gray patina. The grips are fine with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
