Incorporated in South Dakota in 1905. Cert. #1713, issued to E.G. Crossland for 14 shares in 1918. Signed by H.G. Terry as vice-president and Obadiah Hodder as secretary. Small vignette of an allegorical female at the left. Black and green on crème. 10 ½” x 8”. U/C. The company’s lands were 526 acres, freehold, on Twillingate, North Island, on the eastern coast of Newfoundland, in the vicinity of the Tilt Cove mine. In 1918, the company estimated ore reserves of 9,000,000 tons. Ores in the district averaged about 4% copper. The company had a hoist with a tram line and 2,000 ton ore bins on the sea. Had a 1,500 ton coarse crushing plant and was installing a 150 ton concentrator in 1917 [Ref: 1918 Mines Handbook, pg. 1610-11]. Tiny chip missing on the bottom right border. Albert B.
