Unique and one of a kind handmade lath turned spirit vessel by Santa Barbara artist Bruce Bernson. This piece comes from the family collection. Bernson is a well listed artist. The piece is buckeye from the forest fire in Painted Cave and the stopper 5 1/2" long is hand turned ebony wood from Gabon Africa. Mr. Bernson exhibited at the White House in 1993 and has several magazine covers plus many juried showings to his credit. His work also can be seen in the Smithsonian Collection of fine American artists. Due to the artist's declining health this will be one of his last spirit vessels made available and no others will be made. It is a well collected and rare piece of art.
