Tombstone Imperial Cognac & Brandy Bottles 1870
Featured in this lot are two early, cognac and brandy bottles from the 1870s-1890s from Tombstone, Arizona Territory. The first bottle's label shows no brand or company and only reads, "Brandy" on the front. An image of a woman holding a large staff is above and is adorned by geometric graphics. The top of the neck shows the remnants of the metal cap that would have sat over the opening to preserve the contents. The second bottle is from Imperial and the label reads, "Imperial Cognac Brandy" and shows two coins on the left and right side with the words "Paris" and dates "1878" and "1867". Both bottles show good condition overall with slight wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage noted. They measure 3 1/2" L x 3 1/2" W x 12 1/8" H and 3" L x 3" W x 11 1/8" H. They have a collective weight of 2 pounds and 6 ounces.
