The Canadian Legacy Sale II

Auction Details

To our old and new customers alike, welcome to the February 2015 Canadian Legacy II Public
Auction and Mail Bid Sale, a joint sale by Moore Numismatic Auctions and Canadian Coin
& Currency. The 2015 Canadian Legacy II auction is one of the most comprehensive sales of
Canadian material in the combined sixty-four year history of both our auction firms. Three separate catalogues have been produced for the sale. Within the nearly two hundred and fifty pages are featured items for the advanced, intermediate and beginning collector of Canadian coins, tokens, medals and banknotes. We hope that you will find many fabulous numismatic items to add to your collection.

The February Canadian Legacy II sale will be held at the downtown Toronto Hilton hotel, the
location of the recent Legacy I auction, and features a splendid selection of over 3,200
lots of superb material, including many finest known examples and examples of the highest
rarity, at or near the top of the grading census. The quantity of coins, bank notes and tokens
is extensive and the overall quality is excellent. Over 2,000 coins have been graded or
certified by a Third Party Grading Service, with the majority by ICCS followed by PCGS.
Well over 700 lots are within the top ten grading census or are the ‘Finest’ graded by various
grading firms.

Over seventy consignors from across North America have contributed to the sale, adding
both depth and great variety. Part One features the Canadian and United States coins and tokens formed by Mr. G.F. Landon of Winnipeg and consigned by The Church of the Advent, Toronto. Part Two features the Victoria North collection, a near complete Canadian collection in Gem condition along with outstanding world coinage, while Part Three features the second part of the Ronald A. Greene collection of Canadian bank notes, along with a multitude of additional consignments.

Here’s wishing you the best of success with your bids. If we can be of any assistance to you regarding the sale please feel free to contact us.
