This is an original Montana Territory Knives of Bozeman, Montana knife showing an excellent original scrimshaw artwork of Sitting Bull. The blade has been forged from 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon which is then heated and folded into 396 layers creating the astounding “Damascus” steel. The knife shows a wonderful mosaic ladder Damascus. The hollow grind full tang blade has been paired with a set of nice white wild Buffalo bone grips scales. The knife is also finished with stainless steel bolsters and finger holds with a nice polish and wild animal dyed bone. The knife shows an outstanding fighting camp recurve knife one of the most versatile blades offered. The tang and knife spine have been artfully hand vine filled. The knife shows a scrimshaw artwork of Sitting Bull the Hunkpapa Lakota Chief and leader of the resistance against the U.S. Government, widely considered one of the most notable and famous American Indians. The knife is in brand new condition and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity along with a Lifetime warranty. The blade is marked with the “MONTANA TERRITORY KNIVES BOZEMAN MONTANA” stamping which shows the outline of Montana. The knife has been paired with a Great American Bison Buffalo leather hand crafted sheath. The knife measures overall 10.25” in length with the blade being 5” long. The sheath and knife together measure 11” long.
