Offered in this lot is a Assiniboine Native American Indian teepee and kachina doll. The set was crafted by Mountain Designs, by W. Marten in 2001. The Assiniboine people originate from the Northern Great Plains region of the American West, and are associated with the Sioux peoples. The teepee is crafted of heavy duty linen, with wooden tent poles jutting from the top. The teepee shows a simple polychrome paint job, with a geometric motif. Sitting atop the teepee is a mudhead kachina doll, carved of wood, and showing a vibrant hand painted finish. The set shows good condition overall. The teepee measures 17 1/2" tall, and 11 3/4" across the bottom.
