Remington Mohawk-600 .234 Win SN: 6744772
This Remington Mohawk-600 is a modern push feed, bolt action rifle chambered in .243 Win. The Mohawk-600 was a promotional model produced from 1971-1980. It features an 18.5" blued barrel with a raised front sight and adjustable rear sight and shows almost no signs of use or wear and the bore and rifling look good. The wood stock is checkered at the wrist and forend, has a blind magazine, Remington plastic butt plate, and swivel studs. The stock shows signs of wear just behind the forend checkering. This gun has a recall on the trigger system and this one has been changed. The 600 series received attention through the writings of Col. Jeff Cooper, who used the model 600 as the basis for his "Scout I" and "Super Scout" scout rifles. NRA Good+ Modern Firearm
