Spectacular large artisan pot by Montana artist Randall Blaze (1949-), from an exhibition "Shields by Randall Blaze, October 16-December 11, 1988 at Museum of the Plains Indian and Craft Center, Browning, Montana." The pot comes with a six page folding pamphlet from the exhibition. This bowl/pot is not illustrated in the pamphlet, and is , in our opinion, far superior to those illustrated, with turquoise colored enamel dots for stars, multi-color buffalo, and striking gold lightning bolts. 17" tall, 18" diameter. a few minor scuffs and scratches near the bottom.
