This is truly a work of art large piece from Navajo master silversmith Navajo Marie Tsosie set with rare Sonoran Gold Turquoise in a long lariat squash blossom esq. pattern. The necklace has an outstanding old pawn antique pattern and patina from contemporary master silversmith Navajo Marie Tsosie and is signed "MTT (C) STERLING". Every piece of this sterling silver necklace is handmade including the handmade sterling silver chain link necklace strand showing a hammered pattern along with the repousse, stamped and rope silver settings. The necklace has a total of 20 polished cabochons of turquoise in gem quality from the Sonoran Gold Turquoise mine showing a rich green to blue with some spider web matrix, truly one of the more rare and interesting turquoise. The piece had a gallery price of $7,500 and is truly one of if not the finest piece in the sale and truly a rare authentic Navajo work of art. The necklace measures overall 27"L which doesn't include the additional 4"L the end lariat pendant hangs. Total weight of 144.2 grams.
