A wonderful painting of a stagecoach being held up by bandits, signed “Trevors 44/ After CMR” in the lower right corner. This painting is styled after Charles Marion Russell’s famous 1899 painting, “The Hold-Up” which sold for $5.2 million at auction in 2008. Now you can have your own masterful rendition of the artwork for a fraction of the cost of a Russell! This painting by Trevors was specially commissioned for the Palace Club in Reno, owned by the Petricciani family, during the early 1940s when Petricciani leased the casino to Ernie Primm, Joe Hall, Archie Sneed, Jim Contratto, and Elmer "Baldy" West.
