Included here is a pair of Chinese Qing period, circa 1900, blue and white porcelain vases made into table lamps. They each measure 25" high and feature elongated necks over tapering cylindrical bodies, decorated with fu dogs playing with spheres, cloud bands and stiff leaves.

These items come from the collection of Roni Steinberg Sokoloff, and resided in her former 63-acre estate in Bedford New York known as Cantitoe Farms. The lamps were purchased by Ms. Sokoloff in the 1980s, and were appraised in 1998 by Sotheby's for $1,500. We will be happy to provide a copy of the appraisal at time of purchase.
